You will also have access to all of the course modules upon purchase and can easily jump from one to the next, however, I do recommend you complete the modules in order as they are meant to build off of each other.

Hi, I'm Taylor, the registered dietitian who created the Path to Food Freedom. I want you to know that even though this is a self-paced course, you are not alone on this path. I can likely empathize with how you're feeling since I have been in similar shoes in my relationship with food as you are now.

what exactly is intuitive eating?

01. not a diet

Intuitive Eating (IE) is a framework and way of thinking that teaches you the negative impacts diets have on our health and helps you learn new ways of thinking that don’t involve any diet tactics

02. a weight-inclusive evidenced-based approach

IE does not focus on weight as a measure of health, was created by two registered dietitians, and is backed up by over 125 studies to date

03. a self-care approach to taking care of your health

IE teaches you to listen to your body through emotions and rational thoughts to take care of your health. You will learn to enjoy foods you love without guilt and honor your health through gentle nutrition and joyful movement

how to get started?

Intuitive Eating requires you to have an open mind when it comes to giving up dieting for good. This framework will help you unlearn any lies diet culture has led you to believe when it comes to food, your body, and the pursuit of health.

If you are open to unlearning the negative mindset diet culture has taught you and learning more positive and sustainable mindset changes when it comes to taking care of your health, then you are ready to get started with Intuitive Eating.

To fully take on your food freedom journey I want you to be in a place where you can let go of all that you have been taught by diet culture and be ready to relearn the basics about food.

This can sometimes be the most challenging part of intuitive eating - but I encourage you to think about the questions in the quiz below. Can you agree to all of them - or at least agree to try? If you are not there yet, that's OK - you can still move ahead through the guides. Just be aware and reach out if you want help with your progress at any time!
